Context
55% of the US population report fitness and health as top priority in 2022, yet 70% of fitness and wellness professionals report customer acquisition and retention as their biggest challenge.
CADENCE is a web app enabling users to create and manage classes, engage with clients, and broadcast on-demand and livestream content from anywhere.


Problem
49% of users weren't completing the onboarding process and lacked incentives to engage with the app.
Solution
Redesign the product in a way that would be more user-friendly, interactive, and engaging. Working as a larger design team, we identified each others strengths and paired off to each focus on a core product feature.
I focused on Community and Profile features— iterating with a partner based on existing (as well as newly/personally gathered) user research, wireframing, usability testing, and weekly collaboration with our team and the founder.
Result
We designed an overall experience that let users take control of their beauty and skincare routines, form healthy habits, and find new brands through a network where beauty professionals, skincare experts, and community members connect.
