Product Slice is a library of Postman product screens rebuilt in React for marketing pages. A scene uses Postman’s design system and demo data, and some have a scripted tour that clicks through the product on its own.

When a scene has to match the product, captures of the shipped app come first, then the design system docs, then Figma. Where they disagree, the capture wins and the difference gets written down.

Scenes are reviewed in a gallery. From there a scene can be embedded in a page, installed as a React package, or exported as one self-contained HTML file. Because the page embeds the scene, updating the scene doesn’t mean rebuilding the page.

My role

I helped design and build it: the scenes, the front-end, the interactive demos and the documentation, and working with marketing engineering to get scenes onto pages.
